{Things I Love Tuesday...} DIY magic glow

Here are two DIY ideas I discovered on Pinterest (YES on there AGAIN!), both of these have been achieved by using either glowstones (for the pathway) or as the case with the mason jars, a cut glowstick and a whole lot of shaking. Here I was thinking that glowsticks were only useful at music festivals!!

{Things I love...} The Raspberry Bag

Sorry again for my absentee-ism this week, my excuse.. I've been reading! Terrible isn't it, I am definitely one of those girls that once I find a decent book I find it hard to put down, this was a series of four books that I just couldn't help but read. I think I may even do a 'Book Club' post about them, it has been a while since I have done one of those!!

These have been sitting on my Pinterest-Likes-Board for a while now, so I thought I would share them, I am on the hunt for a gorgeous handbag, but as yet haven't found one that fits both my budget and my style!

This week I am loving Lauren Conrad.

I have loved her forever, since the Laguna Beach days (which, BTW, I am currently watching)

 But today, something extra special happened in my relationship with LC, my very first piece of her collection with Kohl's arrived in the mailbox... and I am in looooove! I'd be sleeping in this dress if I weren't afraid of ruining it! 

 My favourite part about this collection is that it is well made AND affordable!!

This week I am loving 'The Mini Dress', especially those by Sass & Bide...

I love the design on this one, it kind of, kind of reminds me of the human anatomy images we had in our biology class!

Loving the crazy hair, would this dress be as cool without the hair?

Loving the spiky edge to an otherwise romantic dress!

Welcome to Things I love Tuesday!

This week a special mention needs to be made, to the thing I love more than anything else, the generosity of people. After posting about 'Zariah's Journey' I have been more than surprised by the generosity of the blogging community, and all of the warm and heart felt messages that have been left for Zariah. I want everyone to know she is doing really well to date.

One of the best organisations I have come across during this journey that Zariah has sent me on is 'Pillowcases for Oncology Kids', this charity was created by fifteen year old Brittany who was diagnosed with a rare germ cell tumour at six months old and given a 0.01% chance of survival. 'Pillowcases for Oncology Kids' are responsible for creating and sending out pillowcases to kids in oncology wards all over Australia and now New Zealand.

At the moment they are doing a special drive, trying to source 100 pillowcases to send to the Oncology ward here in Christchurch as a result of 'Zariah's Journey'

So if you can help, please check out this organisation HERE and our hearts are with you Brittany (who had surgery yesterday).
