The CIRCUS light

As I logged on to my blog tonight I had NO IDEA what I was going to post about, I just knew that I was overdue for posting! So I decide to flick across to Pinterest and see what fabulous images I could find. So imagine my delight, when these images came across my newsfeed! You can't help but feel inspired by the bright lights and the fun fair that you associate with them and with the circus!

If you had a sign like this, what would you do with it?

We are gearing up for the launch of 'Hazed' magazine over on our Facebook Page

We have a special giveaway happening to celebrate the launch from the 1st to 2nd of September, to find out more details, or to sponsor a prize, please check out the Facebook Page

Wow Factor Walls

I've been thinking about walls lately, wall art and galleries to be exact.

How to arrange & frame.

It's all about balance and proportion. Find yourself a series of prints or photographs of a

similar theme. Frame them allowing a rather large border for impact.

All images found at...

For those of you who don't know me, I own an online store here.

And the reason I've been thinking about artwork and arranging is that I

have a new collection of prints just in this week. They are Marine inspired coastal prints in

blue and turquoise and I just love them to bits!

I can vision these framed in a series and I think they would look stunning!

I came across a most amazing and informative "cheat sheet" on how to lay out your

wall gallery to perfection. Find it here. It really is invaluable and I really take my hat off to who put the collaboration together.

Do you have a wall gallery in your home?

Are you a fan of them, or not so much?

Bag lust + Home = Inspired

You take this bag

Add a fashionista for some colour inspiration, and what do you get?

The possibility of a room like this!

Or maybe a little crazier like this!

SMEG lust

Have you ever lusted over a fridge? Really, never? Really?

You obviously have never stumbled upon SMEG!

Now tell me again, that you have never lusted over a fridge....

LIAR!! :P

Images from weheartit.com because I am so over Pinterest!

Scared to use green in your home?

Well you shouldn't be!

Check out how this secondary colour maximised these spaces...

Green means GO...

It is also a colour associated with the earth and Mother Nature so works well with natural fibres

Who wouldn't want a smeg...

Also in love with the blackboard display

LIL' Monkey

I don't know this lil' guy, but I do know he is super cute! So I decided to dedicate this post to him

(I found the pic on weheartit.com)

I don't think we will be creating a nursery again any time soon, but I will always love the sleigh style of cot...

Has anybody done a night sky in their children's rooms? We had glow in the dark star stickers on our ceiling as kids.

I could imagine this nursery in a bohemian rockers home...

I love this colour palette, it is the perfect neutral colour scheme..

And a gorgeous 'grown up' space...

It's all about... the Front Door!

What is their function?

They are there to protect us from possible intruders, shelter us from the elements - wind, rain and sometimes cold temperatures. They make us feel safe and secure within our sanctuaries.

But the front door is also the preview to the rest of your home and it makes a first impression.

This door shows the world a lot about the ones that live behind it.

My favourite: So classic. So elegant. So simple.
