Hi all! I'm Jennifer and I write for Arcadian Lighting Blog, a site that chronicles the best of the best in lighting trends from around the world. I've been writing about home decor since graduating university and have loved it ever since. I'm addicted to patterned fabrics, Jonathan Adler, chaise lounges, old doors, milk glass jars, antiques, and chandeliers. I'm a big fan of the inspiring ideas that Hazel Schreiner shares on her blog Hazel Loves Design, and I hope I can also inspire some of her awesome readers with this post about the beautiful color turquoise.
On walls, furniture, the floor, and in light fixtures - turquoise is an incredibly versatile shade that can be used to jazz up a formal living room or add some playfulness to a fun bedroom. Always pretty and striking, turquoise is a wonderful hue for accents or entire color palettes.
Turquoise everywhere!
Live Like You via
There's no shortage of blue-green in this pretty sitting room, with turquoise splashed on the walls and integrated into the sofa. The white floor lamp fixture and ceiling light are wonderful details.
A dash of color

An oh-so-white bedroom such as this is amped up with turquoise details, like bedding and matching table lamps.

This sitting area is decked out in beautiful complimentary colors, like turquoise and orange - by mixing things up no one color is too overpowering.
Decadent detailing

The most stunning items in this room are those that are turquoise - the long sweeping window treatments and oversized ottoman steal the show.
Welcoming hues

With turquoise as far as the eye can see in this entryway, the hue takes centre stage on the walls, in the vibrant murals and in the area rug. The grand light fixture keeps with the over-the-top theme.

The accents in this casual dining room are the perfect dose of color, from the pillows on the chairs to the curtains and glassware.
Stand-alone style

One main piece, like this tufted pale turquoise ottoman, would infuse any space with instant style. Add a couple of throw cushions for more pizzazz.Content provided by Arcadian Lighting, a site that specializes in top quality lighting fixtures at extremely affordable prices. Come visit us today!

Wow, the pictures are really something. I am always amazed at how artistic some people are and how I can't put anything together. But, we all can't be the same or we would be bored. So, I accept that some have it and some don't, like me! I came over from the blog hop and am now following you thru GFC. I would love a follow back when you get a chance. Thanks so much and have a great weekend!

I love turquoise too! I painted my kitchen shelves in the brightest aqua-hue I dared, and the happiness quotient in my home shot up ten-fold! This is a lovely collection of images!
