My first award!!

Yesterday I received my very first award from NYC Island Gal!! YAY!
Thank you so very much!!! I'm so excited, I feel I have almost fully graduated into the blogging community... I have hosted my first giveaway, won an award, have regular visitors that I see at least once a week... now I just need to hit 100 followers and then I'll have a party!!

For this reward you need to write seven simple things about yourself so...

  • I like to read!
  • I love to blog (obviously I am on here on the time!!)
  • I love Jamie Oliver's food.
  • I have a chronic shoe addiction, refer post below :)
  • I love summer way more than winter!
  • My home is decorated in monochrome, black, white and hints of silver and I am too scared now to introduce colour.
  • I'm getting married this year on Sunday 10th October 2010 at 1.10pm
I want to pass this award onto Bumpkin on a Swing a gorgeous site, you'll be impressed with all of the hard work being done by this couple on the coast of America, helping with the devastation brought on by the oil tragedy. Every time I visit her blog I get tears in my eyes, and tonight's post is no different!!!

{PS Just wanted to add that I just discovered this Etsy shop through a fellow blogger Help The Gulf Coast is an Etsy shop dedicated to raising funds for The Gulf Coast's Recovery}

Congrats, Hazel! That is exciting! And on getting married :) That is exciting too! I used to stay to all black and white too, but I slowly introduced color and now cannot get away from it!

Now if this doesn't make me feel special.
How sweet of you Hazel!
Everybody come on over and see for yourself first hand what the oil spill has done to our lives. The Captain and I would love to have you visit the swing.

Hazel,
Sunday brides, live happy lives.
Happy wife, Happy life!
