Reminder -SHIVER- Book Club 27th July

In case you'd forgotten I'll be hosting my first blogging Book Club on Tuesday 27th July and our first book is Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater. I'm currently re-reading the book and came across the following paragraph;

  "Her eyes on my eyes. Her blood on my face.
  I was tearing apart, inside and outside.
  Her life.
  My life.
The pack fell back from me, wary. They growled at me, no longer one of them, and they snarled over their prey. I thought she was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen, a tiny, bloody angel in the snow, and they were going to destroy her.
  I saw it. I saw her, in a way I'd never seen anything before.
  And I stopped it."
This is such a powerful paragraph in the book and I did not understand the depth of the paragraph when I first read it. Without ruining it for everyone, those who have read the book will understand the point I am trying to make. But also almost obviously now, I believe Sam is proclaiming love at first sight in this paragraph... what do you think?? "I saw her, in a way I'd never seen anything before."  I can't believe I'd missed that previously!!!

Love that image! I'm sure the animal rights activists are up in arms, but I think it's cool! Thanks for checking out the edible glitter, I need to get some of that! XO!
