I think I like having the Union Jack in our interiors, I believe it brings a sense of heritage into our homes, but then comes the debate should we have relics of the old world in our homes? Or should we be promoting modernism absolutely in our home and the desire to move towards 'Australia The Republic'?
Some people would argue that we should have aboriginal paintings not paintings of ancient monarchs, the 'Boxing Kangaroo' not the 'Union Jack', pictures of the Opera House not the Tower of London.

At the end of the day I think our homes should be all about what we love.. and what I love is my heritage and with that comes all things English. So now I am going to go and get Fish and Chips for dinner, followed by a cup of tea!
