Feeling Grey ~ Vintage Spice

Forget the black and white wedding trend its all about Grey!

Whether it is with a pop of colour or just simply with white grey is stunning at a wedding, its much softer than black and goes with almost any other colour.

Here is that coloured wedding dress trend again! Looking beautiful with many shades of grey tulle this bride is stunning!

Vintage Spice Unique Bouquets and Accessories

Lighting can play a huge part in the overall feel of an event, it helps to create a mood and ambience.

Candles down the side of a walkway or stairs screams elegance, if its for a weekend BBQ or formal wedding.

Fairy light curtains make an amazing photo backdrop.

This cute DIY idea with jars and dripping fairy lights would look fantastic at any event.

I think this is such a clever use with fairy lights draped from the ceiling to look like a chandelier.

Tulle draping is always so elegant at weddings but adding fairy lights under the tulle gives it even more of a WOW factor.

Lining you aisle with candles is simply romantic but opt for LED or flame-less candles if you have a long gown or a very formal event where your guests will be in long gowns.

Another great use for inexpensive fairy lights!

Candles on the table are a great way to light your table, these clear candlesticks prevent the table from looking too busy and cluttered.

Lighting doesn't have to be expensive stock up on your fairy lights now while they are on clearance after Christmas!

A festive wedding...

Around Christmas time is the peek of wedding season, between late October and February are when most people choose to get married and a lot of them decide on a Christmas wedding!

Here are my top pics for a festive wedding.

Red velvet cake, why because its way more awesome than fruit!

Red wedding shoes, a great way to get a pop of colour without going for a coloured gown.

Button or brooch bouquets, why? They don't die, they are an amazing keepsake and totally unique! See this one from Vintage Spice Unique bouquets and Accessories.

Festive decor, I love this look so simple with ribbon and a pine cone totally cute and festive!

I think a festive theme to your wedding is a fun theme for a wedding, especially if you are Christmas mad, think fairy lights everywhere and all of your favorite Christmas desserts!

Groom Style

I love this new wave of wedding style for men. Its not just about the bride anymore!

Here are some of my fave groom styles for this wedding season.

I love this look for a spring wedding. Light suit jacket with a pinstripe, pastel coloured shirt and bright bow tie. I do love a pocket square too! Not for every groom but is sure to impress!

Such a fun look!

Suspenders are on trend this year- Love it or hate it??

I love it! Especially styled with this short sleeved shirt and again a bow tie, great for an out door summer wedding the groom will keep cool while waiting for his bride and taking pictures, later in the night throw on a simple black jacket.

Something every groom can do, a simple suit. But its not your average black tie this tan colour would be great for a spring or summer wedding, not as harsh as the black and also not as hot for an outdoor wedding. Looks great against any colour the bride is wearing and sets the groom apart from the groomsman and other wedding guests wearing black suits.
