I grew up in Wellington, New Zealand. The whole country is currently under siege of seismic activity... I have friends and family in Christchurch the hardest hit city of them all. My heart goes out to everyone living through the horrors at the moment!
It definitely makes you feel more patriotic, knowing how everyone is pulling together to support those in need!

Wow, I just love that silver fern in the sand. I'm a Kiwi myself (although living on the Gold Coast)and have been thinking a lot about everyone back home. That had to be so scarey. What a miracle no- one was killed.
