If I were at Tattoo

So I've created this post today, merely as inspiration for myself regarding what I hope to achieve in terms of getting a tattoo on my back. I haven't always wanted a tattoo, in fact for the longest time I thought I'd die with an artless body, however recently I've fallen for the idea of getting Angel wings tattooed across my back, the idea originated whilst reading a book. Because I am hoping to get a quote on this artwork this weekend I've created this as my 'go-to' ideas list.. I may show it to the tattooist or I may not!

So this is the size I am looking for...
I want them to look like they are coming out of my body..
But I want them to be full of colour...
I love the almost 'Henna' inspired look of this image...
And the modern styling in these...
I want a peacock feather in the midst of the tattoo...
Look at the detailing on this feather...
Examples of Angel Wings...

I love the look of these (minus the hairy bum!)
So this is it for now.. but I am going to add to it as the weeks go on!!

i do want a tattoo but I'll think more on it once I've earned it. It would be a reward for some major weight loss ;)

thanks for hopping with me today

I arrived here via gigi, and i'm so happy i did today! You are a brave soul, going from no ink to almost your entire back! But I LOVE your designs. I might steal the owl! I have a couple of tattoos (also behind me where I can't see them... kinda funny), but i've been itching to get another one... one of these days. Good luck with your design process and choosing your artist!
